‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ is the most awaited movie of 2017 and the build up for the film – like most Aamir Khan movies in recent times – began months before the film even went on floors.
Like his previous release ‘Dangal’, the talking point of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ has also been Aamir’s look – apart from the cast which includes the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Aamir was previously seen sporting a long beard and various other looks. But now, with the film on floors in Malta (Europe), Aamir’s look with pierced nose-ring and ears has been doing the rounds.
A leading daily quoted a source as saying “His character demands it and it’s just a glimpse of what he has done physically.. It’s well-known how painful nose piercing can be. Not many opt for it to avoid the intense pain. Also, he has gone for two upper ear piercings, which also cause a lot of pain as they have been done on the cartilage bone. On the sets, he screams in pain even when someone touches it by mistake. He isn’t able to sleep on his right side at all”
The time and effort he puts into his films is incredible, but it’s also his incredible marketing mind that gives his films priceless publicity.

It’s a serious! We Salman Fans should also boycott SRK & Aamir films. We mustn’t watch their films in theatre. Aamir khan’s fans are Naag. Who bites from back then why should we show love towards Aamir ?! SRK fans are haters and we know that still we watch his films. But from now we Salman Khan die hard & hardcore fans should take oath and promise to not watch Aamir & SRK films in theater. If we want to watch we should watch it either on mobile or TV. Pirated version should be the best choice. If we r truly a Salman fan, we should have to care… Aamir fans are Snake… now they’ll say it’s SRK fans who r bashing salman but it ain’t true… SRK fans are born haters of Salman and we know that but Insecurity of Aamir Khan fans about Salman’s MegaStardom made them Haters of Salman. So we mustn’t watch his films too… Hume Aamir aur SRK ki film Theatre mein nahi dekhna chahiye!

Had really enjoyed the face-offs between Big B & SRK (in Mohabbatein), Big B & Ajay (in Khakee) and Big B & Akshay (in Aankhein). Though Khakee and Mohabatein are quite higher on the list but Aankhein was a good movie too. These were movies in which Amitabh had a prominent role almost equal to SRK/Ajay/Akshay’s role.
Looking forward to Amitabh having a significant role in this movie too and some really intense scenes between Amitabh and Aamir. Bliss for cinema lovers.

I commend your work and am a daily reader of ur site. At the same time Iam a big Aamir fan bcoz of his unique script sense..
I agree that very few male actors do piercing, but almost every Indian female (actor & non-actor) does it. Some tribal women does far more piercing than this. But I don’t think they ever complain about it or even speak about the pain they endure. So just crediting Aamir for it isn’t fair to all those female actors at least who have done the same throughout their acting career.
This is just my opinion and it’s not intended to take anything away from anyone.

The amount of hard work n effort that aamir puts in his movies is beyond imaginary,there is a reason why his movie crossed 2000 crores ww when even big stars like srk hasn’t crossed 400 crores ww,toh’ll definetely earn more than 400 crores in india n aamir’ll make diwali holiday lucarative….#huge_respect@a.
I am thinking what will be the craze when this movie come in theatre. Its not over confidence, but I believe the level of its opening will be the biggest. Before Bahubali 2, in real terms the biggest opener & weekend grosser was Dhoom 3 that too on non holiday, When Aamir came first with Fanaa, biggest opening ever on non-holiday, same happen with D3 but the real opening will be TOH as it release on full fledged holiday. Aamir has not released a single movie on holiday this decade (on opening day), So it will show the real stardom. More power to you Ace Khan.
@Indicine, it was good that you came with real collection of various movies, but what about PRDP, you keep showing it a 200cr grosser while in reality, Not a single Diwali release crossed 200cr net. Again a favourism.
