Directed by Vijayan, produced by Smt R Santi Srihari on the banner of Sri Chalana Chitra ‘Sri Mahalakshmi’ with Srihari, Suhasini, Shamna, Aiswarya and Rajita in the lead had completed its shooting recently. Srihari says, ‘This is the remake of Malayalam super hit film ‘Chintamani Cola Case’. However, we effected some changes to suit the nativity. The film would surely be a big hit in Telugu. It would remain a different character in my career. I am playing the role of an advocate who always fought for women. Vijayan, who is basically a fight master, turned a director through this film. After ‘Hanumanthu’, we are again producing ‘Sri Mahalakshmi’ now. Manisharma gave melodious tunes to all the songs and we will soon launch the audio. We are planning to release the film on May 22.’
‘Raju Bhai’ to hit screen on May 4
The shooting of the talkie part of ‘Raju Bhai’ directed by Suryakiron, produced by Padma Shree, Dr M Mohanbabu, on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures with Manoj as hero and Sheela as heroine. Presently, Ganesh Acharya is choreographing a song for the film at Annapurna Studios. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mohanbabu says, ‘This is the 47th film on our banner. Manoj performed well in this movie. We are sure that he would earn a good name as hero through this flick. Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya is working for the second time on our banner. We are happy to present a good film to the audiences. We are planning to release the film on May 4, on the occasion of the birthday of my mentor Dr Dasari Narayana Rao.’
