The shooting of ‘Podarillu’ directed by Rettadi Srinivasa Rao, presented by Akula Sudhir Kumar and produced by Akula Siva Durga Prasad on the banner of Venky Academy with Sivabalaji and Neha Pendse in the lead, was almost complete but for the canning of a song. Producer Akula Siva Durga Prasad says, ‘The film would reflect my taste to bring out good family oriented subject. The film has good story and a lot of preference for its movement. Koti gave melodious tunes to all the six songs in the movie and we will soon launch the audio and release the film by the end of April. This family subject also has love element, besides several other points for the social awareness.’ Director Rettadi Srinivasa Rao says, ‘I worked as an associate with Vijayabhaskar from ‘Nuvve Kaavali’ to ‘Jai Chiranjeeva’. I am very happy for being introduced through a good film from a producer with good taste. Sivabalaji would appear novel in this movie.’ Sivabalaji says, ‘All the characters in the film are quite matured. Director is bringing out the film excellently. Music is also quite impressive.’ Vinodkumar says, ‘I am doing the role of a big businessman and the father of the heroine, who loves his daughter very much. The role had good prominence and good scope for performance.’ Aditya Om, Naresh, Purnima, Giribabu, MS Narayana, Babumohan, Ali, LB Sriram, Lakshmipati, Chitram Sreenu, Navabharat Balaji, Rajitha, Chalapati Rao, Geetanjali, Rallapalli, Allari Subhashii, Ajam, Jenny, YVS Rao and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Venky Academy Unit, cinematography is by Shyam Pinjala, lyrics are by Peddada Murthy, Kandikonda Chirravuri Vijaykumar, and Ananta Sriram and music is by Koti.
