he is probably the youngest heroine in Kollywood. One look at her and you feel she?s the girl-next-door. Her career graph has been quite exciting and she is slowly but surely climbing up the ladder of success after she signing a few good projects.
Her debut film Kathal was one the biggest blockbusters in Tamil and her lucky streak continued with Dishoom.
Her directors say that she looks quiet and na?ve but it?s a matter of seconds when the camera starts rolling, you see her transform into the character that she?s playing. Now Sandhya?s kitty is full – she has completed Thoondil with Shaam, and her Koodal Nagaram with Bharath is ready for release next month.
She has been signed up by ace director Selvaraghavan for his home production Ithu Malai Nerathu Mayakkam opposite Surya?s brother Karthi which will start rolling in April. She is also doing Manjal Veyil with Prasanna.
Today (Jan 22) Sandhya is starting work on Priya V directed Kannanpoochi Yaenada with Pritviraj in the male lead produced by Raadan Media Works. In the film, she has a meaty role and is all excited about sharing screen space with Satyaraj and Radhika two veterans in Tamil films.
And in Telugu her recent film Annavaram (a remake of Vijay?s Tirupachi) in which she played hero Pawan Kalyan?s sister is getting her lot of accolades. Pawan?s elder brother Chiranjeevi who saw Annavaram called up and appreciated Sandhya for dubbing in her own voice in Telugu and her performance.
Now Sandhya has dubbed in her voice for Koodal Nagaram which makes her the second heroine after Asin to have dubbed in their own voices for Tamil and Telugu despite the fact that they are both Malayalees.
