Mohanlal has decided to postpone his big budget Christmas release ?Alibhai? as a date clash is bound to occur with Ram Gopal Varma?s Sholay starting on the 27th of September. In the remake of the All time classic, Lal plays the role of a police officer, based on the legendary character played by Sanjeev Kumar in the magnum opus.
Meanwhile it is informed that Lal will indeed work with Shaji Kailas this October in the project titled ?Baba Kalyani?. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor and written by S N Swamy, Lal?s role is said to be that of a police official.
