Welcome Back has opened well at the box office on Friday. Inspite of the film not featuring a bankable male lead and the absence of a superstar like Akshay Kumar, the opening of Welcome Back is one among the Top 5 biggest openers of the year so far.
The tremendous recall value of the first ‘Welcome’ film has ensured a good initial at the box office. First day business is certain to cross the 12-13 crore mark, but if the evening / night shows grow, Welcome Back could touch or cross the 15 crore mark on Day 1.
The film has opened very well at single-screens, at multiplexes the start in the morning was slow, but business has picked up in the noon.

Yes he is no longer bankable and my fear is really let varun or ranveer overtake him that will be a dissappointment for the only top 6 A list actors of his generation that has the lowest in every box office category. Even his critically acclaimed movies don’t last at box office like that of Srk mnik aamir talaash ajay drishyam. I hope Welcome back can sustain well at the box office.

Wow hours by hours the occupancy is increasing here in Jaipur. Excellent from all the actors. John showed Akshay how to actually make the audience smile and satisfied that the ticket money paid was worth it. Anil and nana chemistry was sizzling. It shows 2007 welcome was never credited to Akshay alone Nana Anil were also key contributors for 2007 welcome. Paresh was just paresh always interesting. Let me use this opportunity to also congratulate the 2 longest running sustainability movies at box office for 2015. Salman Bhajrangi Bhaijan 7 weeks still not looking back and Ajay Drishyam 5 weeks still being appreciated day by day f despite non commercial genre and dull opening week and Then how can we forget TWM returns for 1 full month of steady collection. After Brothers heavy torture it’s a Welcome back for a fresh 2nd half of the year Bollywood movies. Welcome back Bollywood.!
Well I would say that John is bigger than me. With huge support of multistarrer and on non holiday release he is all set to break my all non holiday records. My Donkey 2 released on Christmas in 2011 but still failed to break ghajini’s record which released in 2008. Shame on me and shame on my overrated stardom.next year my fan and raees will release but I don’t think any of them will open bigger than welcome back. I am the most overrated star eve though my stardom is lower than tushar kapoor as well if you remove YRF, Dharma, multistarrers and manipulations from my overrated career.

John is far far far sexier handsome and more charismatic than Akshay. I have told many people lots of time that I don’t call akshay an actor I just call him a famous entertainer. Watched the movie. Anil kapoor Sir and Nana Sir perfect jodi. John average. What’s suprising me is all those saying John is better than Akshay? Personally am not a big fan of akshay but Akshay is an A lister which will take John some 20 movies from now to reach that stage. But this movie will rock!
