Vivek Oberoi will perform at the Bollywood awards ceremony which will take place in May this year in New York. Giving him company are stars like Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Kangana Ranaut.
New Delhi: Following his impressive performance in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara, the Indian adaptation of Othello, Vivek Oberoi has been lurking in the shadows.
However, it’s time to shake a leg. New York beckons Oberoi, as he prepares for the annual Bollywood awards in May this year.
The actor will take to the stage with other compatriots like Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Kangana Ranaut.
The stars will perform at the Bollywood awards ceremony to be held at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island in New York on May 26.
“Vivek is a great dancer and is putting his heart and soul into his first public performance in the US to ensure that it will be most memorable for him, and for the fans,” Vice President of the Bollywood awards, Rajiv Dandona, has said.
Anupam Kher and Upen Patel, along with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Pakistani actress and singer Shahida Mini, Hollywood’s Danny Glover and Phylicia Rashad have also been roped in to perform at the awards ceremony.
