Sushant Singh Rajput suffers ligament tear, advised rest

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who has just wrapped up the shooting schedule of his upcoming film ‘Raabta’, has suffered from a ligament tear in his right knee. The actor, who performed quite a few action sequences for the ‘action romance’ film, has been advised rest for the next one month.

A statement was released on behalf of the actor:

“We practiced a lot and I could do the stunt properly every time, but unfortunately on the day of the shoot it was pouring and the ground was slippery. That caused the injury. I am glad that we could still finish the scene as planned.”

‘Raabta’ marks the directorial debut of Dinesh Vijan, who has previously produced films like ‘Cocktail’ and ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

The film releases in 2017.
