Salman Khan talks about Lulia Vantur for the first time

One of the biggest superstars that India has ever seen, Salman Khan, keeps his fans happy by entertaining them onscreen. But there is only one unfulfilled wish every Bhai fan has, and that is regarding his marriage.

Whenever any rumour sparks up about his getting close to someone, the media begins questioning him at almost every event that he attends.

Since his breakup with Katrina Kaif, it looked like Salman’s wedding was too big a dream but then came news that Salman has proposed to his current girl friend Lulia Vantur. There was a rumour that the Romanian girl was seen wearing an engagement ring.

Talking about his friendship with Lulia for the first time, Salman said “I loved the rumour about my engagement. When the rumour about my engagement broke out, some journalist called my father and said, ‘Mubarak ho, Salman Saab has got engaged, and my dad, who obviously got a bit perplexed, replied – ‘I don’t think so… he is sleeping. This news came out in the foreign media because Lulia’s friend whose name is also Lulia, was wearing a ring. She gave that ring to Lulia (Salman’s friend) to wear and suddenly the news was splashed all over, but in five minutes Lulia cleared out that it was her friend’s ring and there’s no engagement, nothing. But by then it was all celebration for the media here. I felt let the rumours about my engagement go on, what difference does it make?”

It’s funny, but the media intrusion into the private life of stars has gone way out of control in the last few years.
