MohenjoDaro is probably the biggest movie of the year, motion poster has just increased the hype, if the content clicks, it will create history. It will surely get a huge release, clash or solo.
Well Mr. Makkiholic…let me put up some stats for you…
You are saying MD will be a big flop even if the movie is average…well from all the sources that are available in the internet the production cost for the movie is 100cr or just over 100cr…which is more or less same as the Akki’s ‘Brothers’ right? And you are saying MD will have the same fate of ‘brothers’? LMAO! I pity your analysis skills!
MD will have a 4 day weekend and even with an average WOM I am 99% sure it will cross 100cr by that time or will reach close to it. And if the WOM is positive it will easily go close to 120cr…In any case the movie will easily earn more than 150 cr and the milestone of 200 or more depends on the WOM factor.
And I would assume I don’t have to tell you about the BO earning potential of this kind of genre in the overseas! With Hrithik + Ashutosh + ARR combo and Disney distributing it you would be fool to bet against an humongous overseas opening…if a film like Bang Bang! can earn 13.5 Million dollars overseas MD with more favorable genre and combo should easily target the 20 million mark overseas….
So these are my 2 cents on your post…now could you please explain how it will become a big flop?
