Love it or Hate it

Some love bollywood, some just hate it..

I was reading a magazine today and suddenly my eyes caught unbelievable news, this was about the one of the most famous thing in India: Bollywood. 2006 has been the best ever year for Bollywood. Can you believe that?

I was also startled by the news but then there was some points worth noting which indicates that it is possible. I watched Dhoom-II recently. This movie was condemned by critics but well greeted by audience and this was clearly visible by the number of people who throttled the cinema hall. Actually in India we have audience of many kinds. Some like sensible cinema, some just go theatre to see our actresses exposing in the movie and some just wanna enjoy the movie and want to utilise their time and money in any way.

Now after watching so many hindi movies some excellent, some utter non sense, i have come to some conclusions about enjoying hindi movies:

If you really wanna enjoy hindi movies, try to watch them in cinema halls if movie is a big budget and full of big sets or action scenes. If it romantic flick, go get your special partner for a beautiful evening date rather than going just for watching three hour movie. Go in a group with friends to watch movies like Dhoom or Don or Lage Raho Munnabhai and of course keep your brain aside before entering into the cinema hall coz brain and Bollywood are poles apart. You may like certain kind of songs but if you have to enjoy the movie just be engrossed in movie totally, accept whatever is being shown in the movie (After all this is just a mater of three hours yaar) and enjoy every song to the fullest let it be some dance number or comedy or romantic melody. Just jhoomo nacho with the song.

If you will follow these guidelines you are definitely going to like bollywood movies regardless of the fact that most of them are total non sense. But bollywood is moving only because of such people who have adopted these fundas. Now if you wanna be one of them or not, its your choice….
