The friendly hug between school mates Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan at the calendar launch party of Daboo Ratnani seemed to say that the ice has finally been broken between their relationships. But it is for real or just for cameras? After the Bachchan?s disapproval of the kissing scene between Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2, Abhishek and Hrithik have not interacted with each other. The two?Teen?icons were also avoiding any function that would force them to come together. But at the Daboo?s launch party Amitabh and Abhishek arrived with Aishwarya Rai while Hrithik was with his wife. As a source reveals, ? Actually, Daboo had insisted that Duggu?(Hrithik’s?Pet?name) come for the launch, because that was the only way to break the ice between Abhishek and Hrithik. They have been school friends and it was really unpleasant for both of them not to talk to each other for such a long while.? Amitabh Bachchan too hugged Hrithik Roshan and congratulated him for his excellent performance throughout the year 2006.
However, those present at the launch said that though Bachchans were comfortable with Hrithik and Suzanne and could be seen in animated conversation with them. Aishwarya Rai was not so comfortable and could be seen avoiding the eye contact with Hrithik Roshan. The tension was also visible on the face of the Krrish star. It may be recalled that there was much tension in the Bachchan family over the new sexy and hot avatar of Aishwarya in DHOOM 2. Jaya Bachchan was especially miffed about this and said to have wondered why Ash did this all at this stage when they were planning for marriage with Abhishek and when she had already denied films from Hollywood due to bold scenes.
