Opening 28 to 35cr 190 to 220cr lifetime
I don’t know hum much ßut By looking at the Superstar. .it should do 35 plus easily on solo release. It’s also a partial holiday.

Fan will definitely collect more than 25 cr on Day 1 , It may not break the Dhoom 3 record of highest Non Holiday collection but it can easily come close to 28-30 cr i guess. Mainly becoz the trailer and song recieved very good reviews and it looks like people are excited to watch the movie. Coming to the Lifetime total , My prediction will be
Day 1 – 28-30 cr
Weekend – 100+ cr [ If positive WOM]
Week 1 – 180-200 cr [ if Positive WOM]
Life time – 300+ [ If Positive WOM ]. I think if movie gets Positive WOM , it can break PK record as well depends on the release count and other factors.
Note : Every single record of Indian Film history will be broken if movie gets a WOM like Chakde India
I think it should be around 19-20crs…
If I m not wrong,Fan promos are not playing on TV channels yet n they don’t have any other song to sustain the buzz.Fan’s buzz is currently only on social media and online world.
But SRK will go all out to promote it in coming days n that should generate buzz.

Expecting day 1 to be in the range of 20 – 25 cr.
Lifetime difficult to call as such movies heavily depend on content and WoM. On the assumption that movie is liked by the audience and has content I will go for 150 to 175 cr range. If assumption goes wrong then the lower range (125 to 150 cr).
But with this movie I always feel odd to talk about box office. Much more than the box office I m looking forward to the experience of watching SRK as Gaurav and the thrill of 2 SRK characters clashing and going after each other.
@ Indicine: Another interesting poll question on FAN can be as to which of the 2 SRK characters will the fans be supporting/cheering for?
Gaurav may have the upperhand but with SRK on both sides it should still be a competition.
Another interesting question can be the reason for the word “Sorry” written on the posters. My guess is that the word Sorry is written by Gaurav to taunt Aryan after Gaurav messes up with him.

Prediction with Conviction is materialistic, present aspects of Fan seems mixed, SRK is a huge star his stardom itself worth 100 cr plus, rest depend on substance

Opening day will depend on the screen size.there is a partial holiday for Ram Navmi but these kind of holidays have never been huge for business..I hope it gets 3500 screens or even more if possible then an opening day between 17-20 crore is possible..Lifetime of course depends entirely in content…if the film finds that extremely positive word of mouth then 200 crore will be achieved and it may even challenge Chennai express lifetime total too..Fingers crossed for Fan..I’m expecting a masterpiece performance from Shahrukh Khan and a quality edge of the seat entertainer…All the best team Fan
