The Bachchans didn?t want the media to cover the wedding as they wanted it to be a private affair but, all the drama has a new twist in the tale as Big B has sold the exclusive rights of the wedding video to a foreign channel.
Big B had approached UK magazine ?Hello? for the picture rights as well but, they weren?t ready to pay the pounds he was demanding and so the deal didn?t take off.
The Bachchans however; managed to sell the video rights to a UK TV channel for a whopping Rs. 5 crore ($1.25 million), so guess now we know the reason why Big B got hyper at the sight of media at the wedding.
In fact, it is rumored that the security was rough with the media and reporter even landed in a hospital. Big B later apologized for the act.
Big B, who endorses almost any brand under the sun, has managed to sell the Bachchan wedding too.
Guess, when it comes to selling products, Big B is truly the ?Sarkar?.
