Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest names in the Hindi film industry, but the actor, who was also an outsider in Bollywood, is completely in awe of Tamil superstar Rajnikanth.
Akshay has said that it would be an honour to be ‘punched’ by Rajnikanth.
“These things don’t come to you even in a dream. He’s a wonderful actor and even more, a wonderful human being. It will be an honour to be punched by Rajni sir. It’s going be a different world for me. The graphics, the action and the adulation that he commands”
“Today, the action (of Rajni’s older films) may seem a little funny, but at that time I would be gaping at the screen, wondering how Rajni sir did what he did. It was a marvel in technique and technology” Akshay said.
Robot 2.0 starring Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is expected to release in theatres in 2017.
