Like Queen, Gulaab Gang has also done well on its second day at the domestic box office, but the screen-average is still quite low for the Madhuri Dixit starter. Multiplex business picked up on Saturday, while single screens were at around the same level as Friday.
Gulaab Gang would have probably fared even better at multiplexes, had a film like ‘Queen’ (which is carrying tremendously positive reports) not released alongside.
Looking at collections from a few centres of the morning shows on Sunday, Gulaab Gang is likely to collect around 9.25 crore in its first weekend, which will be lower than the weekend total of Madhuri’s last release Dedh Ishqiya (11.67 cr in 3 days).
