Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted at the sessions court on Friday, along with his sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan.
The hit-and-run case was adjourned till July 24th.

Sessions Case No. 240 of 2013 was listed before His Honour Judge Mr. U. B. Hejib presiding in Court Room No. 25. I was present in Court, as I have always been when required by the Hon’ble Court.
The Sessions Case No. 240 of 2013 commenced with the Assistant Public Prosecutor opening the case under sections 225 and 226 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by advancing his submissions on the relevant provisions attracted in Sessions Case No. 240 of 2013, and sought framing an additional charge under Section 304 Part II of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
My advocates did not argue against framing of charges, but requested the Hon’ble Court that all contentions and defences available to me be left open to be determined in the course of the trial.
Thereafter, an application was filed by my advocates praying that the Hon’ble Court pass appropriate directions/ guidelines with regard to the manner in which this case should be reported by the media i.e factual reporting. Arguments were advanced by my advocates praying, briefly, that trial by media and speculative stories published by the media prejudices my right to a fair trial, which is a right guaranteed to me by the Constitution of India.
My advocates also submitted that the intervention application filed by Mr. Santosh Daundkar be adjudicated, as we were strongly opposing the same. The advocates for the parties advanced their respective submissions pertaining to the intervention application. The Assistant Public Prosecutor also opposed the intervention application.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Hon’ble Court has adjourned Sessions Case No. 240 of 2013 to July 24, 2013 for passing orders on the following:
- submissions on Sections 225 and 226 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973;
- the intervention Application filed by Mr. Santosh Daundkar; and
- the application filed by my advocates seeking appropriate directions/ guidelines with regard to the manner in which this case should be reported by the media i.e factual reporting.

@sachin11…killing of deer, which is an endangered species is illegal. Any more killings like these and the chinkara species of deer would be extinct. One does not expect that from anybody, especially Salman as he is an actor and has lots of influence over the people in this country.

The law has taken more than 10 years to solve a deer killing case. What does this mean?
It means no one cares about deers or any animals. It’s a star who was involved and who has got lot of money, so instead of killing the golden goose in one go let us fill our pockets with the golden eggs for years to come.
So, who is the bigger criminal here?
Many of the politicians and their chamchas still regularly go out for hunting and there have never been any cases registered against, but if it is someone famous with lots of money, then let us all create an issue and mint money, and if it is a celebrity the media will be party to it too.
How did the number of tigers come down in the country? how did many of the extinct animals got extinct, and still getting extinct. Do anyone know how many chinkaras are left or how many were killed later?
