Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut Main, Tum Aur Hum seems to have all the right ingredients to get the cash registers ringing. The mega-budget love story, set on a cruise liner, stars real life couple Ajay and Kajol and will be shot in exotic locales. Ajay is not just directing but also acting, producing and writing the film’s script.

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that the actor-turned-director is all set to do the salsa with Kajol in the film to bring the flavours of Cuba and Puerto Rico on screen. Ajay has kept Main, Tum Aur Hum under wraps, but our source reveals, “Ajay is planning a mega-budget song for his upcoming production, where Kajol and he will do a salsa number together.”

The song will be shot on an ultra-luxurious cruise liner that will go from Mumbai to Lakshwadeep.

The Vishal Bharadwaj composition has lyrics by Gulzar and is sung by Adnan Sami. Ajay has also roped in Ashley Lobo to choreograph the number.

Ashley, who is well known for his jazz and salsa style of dancing, confirms being in talks with Ajay Devgan, and discussing the look and other details of the song with him. “The song is very exciting. I am planning a very Spanish look and touch for the song. It will hopefully be something that has never been done in Bollywood before. I am getting professional dancers from Russia for it,” says Ashley.

Ashley also admits that getting Ajay to perform a salsa number is bound to be quite a task, given the actor’s by-now-famous two left feet. However, Ashley also believes that practice makes a man perfect. “I am planning to train Kajol and Ajay well before we actually start picturising the song,” he says.
