These words are used when a film not only works all over India, but manages to find appreciation both at smaller centres, single screens and multiplexes. In the last couple of years, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the most universally appreciated and acclaimed film, followed by PK.
This year (as of April 2016), only the Hollywood film ‘The Jungle Book’ has done well across India.
