Three big and very important releases this weekend; Blue – All the Best – Main Aur Mrs Khanna are all set for the big box-office battle! The three biggies, amongst themselves, will share close to 55 crores (nett) of business during the Diwali week.
Going by the advance booking, Blue seems to be the first choice for audiences at both multiplexes and single screens, while All the Best (from by director of Golmaal) is also expected to do well.
Main Aur Mrs Khanna the other big release starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, is unfortunately, the third-choice.
Expected 1st week nett gross
- Blue: 25 – 30 crores
- All the Best: 15 – 20 crores
- Main Aur Mrs Khanna: 10 – 15 crores
While the opening weekend of Blue and All The Best will be good over the weekend, Main Aur Mrs Khanna will rely heavily on word-of-mouth.
