Katrina Kaif has said that Salman Khan, who she was dating for a few years, will remain an extremely important part of her life. She also said that her journey in the industry could have been difficult without his presence in her life.
“Salman has been an extremely important part of my life and in my process in films. He, his parents and sisters are very good friends of mine. They are amazing people. They are the most respectful people I have ever met” Katrina said at India Today’s Conclave 2015, while being interviewed by journalist Karan Thapar.
While most questions asked were about Ranbir, Salman and Akshay, Katrina spoke in detail about the relationship that she once shared with the actor.
“There are many definitions with the relationship we share. I don’t like to really share publicly or give labels to the relationship I share with him. He is an amazing person, very unique. You don’t meet many people like Salman in the world. He will always remain very important part of my life. Without him my journey could have been difficult” she said.
“If Salman comes across your path, you don’t be afraid to talk to him and try to strike a conversation with him. He truly is a people’s person. He interacts with people with such a genuine level. He really engages people in a genuine way” Katrina added.
