Time to celebrate for Hrithik Roshan fans for the third time this year, as the superstar who doesn’t sign more than one film a year, has signed yet another film.
Duggu will be seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Hamlet’ adaptation, to be produced by Goldie Behl. The film will go on floors mid-2014 after the final shooting schedule of Karan Malhotra’s Shuddhi.
Tigmanshu Dhulia has directed acclaimed films like Haasil, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Paan Singh Tomar.
Hamlet is widely considered to be William Shakespeare’s most powerful and influential tragedy in English literature with a story capable of endless adaptations. (source: Wikipedia)
The Indian version will be set in rural India.

if anyone see the upcoming films of 3khans then hritic films are valueless compare to the khans and hritic never beat the khans because khans craze is more than hritic. In 2013 dhoom 3 the highest grosser like 2006 and in 2014 happy new year is the highest grosser like 2007. And krish 3 will be the another ra1 like diwali 2011.

@break… you said exactly what I had in mind. SRK and Salman are just part of movies that make money… not very meaningful. AK and HR does movies that are meaningful more often than not, which is why K3 and D3 is keenly awaited.

@break bang bang is not hype as last year hritic kat jodi can’t cross 90cr after getting critically success and positive word of mouth. And sid anand pre films are valuless, he can’t done any clean hit film till now and bb is a remake of hollywood disatar kad and shahid rejected the film and hritic accept. And sundhi not officially confirmed yet but clash with rohit shetty singhm2, so hro have only one hype and much awaited film k3 like srk starer ra1, you know what happend srk in his peek that time but ra1 struggle to recover its huge budget and k3 made one a budget of 100cr plus, so i don’t think so hro have so great line up but it is clear that 3 khans have great line up,every film looks like blockbuster, no one can beat the khans.

Hrithik has won 6 filmfare awards 4 as an actor which salman and Aamir are still dreaming despite 2 decades, and I’m not talking about iifa as he is joint most winner with shahrukh, I’m talking about international award which he won for jodha akbar at russia which no actor has won except raj kapoor, his success ratio is more then salman who has given 50 flops, according to BOI hrithik has 6 blockbusters, and currently the highest paid actor in bollywood, according to wiki in total he has won 80-120 awards in just 13 years again which Aamir and salman are dreaming, if you google him you will find Hrithik is one of the biggest name in bollywood and more searched by interational fans, Hrithik has achieved more as an actor in 13 years compare to salman or Aamir in their 2 decades, in just 13 years he has achieved more then even some legends and still has got more years to achieve even bigger!!
