ZNMD – Official Worldwide Collections

The official numbers from EROS Entertainment for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara are out and the film has already recovered all its investment in its first weekend itself. Below are the detailed numbers

The film cost Rs 55 crores which includes the production costs, actor’s fees, print and publicity. Investment recovered through its first weekend are below

India Collections

  • Friday – 8.15 crores
  • Saturday – 9.25 crores
  • Sunday – 11.20 crores
  • First weekend theatrical collections – 28.6 crores nett (gross is Rs 40.50 crores, distributors share 15 crores)

Overseas Collections

  • All other countries combined – Rs 12 crores (distributors share about 5.75 crores)

Others

  • Satellite Rights – 24 crores
  • Music Rights – 7 crores

The total amount recovered so far is Rs 71.6 crores which includes money earned from Satellite rights, Music rights, theatrical collections in India and overseas.

On weekdays, the film has remained steady all over and the all India nett (after entertainment taxes) is expected to be around 5 –  6 crores, which would mean a 4 day total of 33 – 34 crores.
