On Thursday, Bollywood stars paid their final respects to the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra who passed away on October 21st 2012. The ‘chautha’ ceremony, the fourth day ritual after the cremation, was held at the Yashraj Studios in Mumbai.
Celebrities who were present for Yash Chopra’s Chautha: Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Jitendra, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma, Gulzar, Vinod Khanna, Farah Khan, Ranveer Singh, Shatrughan Sinha, Subhash Ghai, Mahesh Bhatt, Boney Kapoor, Anupam Kher with wife Kirron Kher, Milan Luthria, Pankaj Udhas, Ashutosh Gowariker, Javed Akhtar, Juhi Chawla, Zoya Akhtar, Ameesha Patel, Madhur Bhandarkar and Ramesh Taurani.
Yash Chopra died at the Lilavati Hospital in Sunday, following multiple organ failure resulting from complications from dengue.
Before his death, he was busy shooting for Jab Tak Hai Jaan with SRK, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. He had completed the entire shooting schedule, except one song, that was to be shot in Switzerland

We luv yash chopra. no doubt. but i dont agree if someone makes yash ji’s death a fact to promote JTHJ or to make JTHJ a blockbuster. We shud watch JTHJ if we luv it. we’ll surely luv it. no doubt. all yash chopra films are lovely. but dont make his death a point to watch the movie many times and make it a blockbuster. he never wanted that, coz those ppl wont do the same if he was alive. If u love it then watch it 100 times..won’t matter..but dont watch it 100 times to make it a blockbuster coz of yash ji is no more. its not a tribute..but an insult to that legendary film maker..
