At the trailer of launch of Telugu film ‘Baahubali’, Karan Johar requested the media to avoid questions related to Karan Malhotra’s Shuddhi.
First announced as a film starring Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Johar later signed Salman Khan as the lead. However, late last month, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were finalised for the movie.
“Oh my god, oh my god, I am folding my hands and bowing down to you all, stop asking me questions about ‘Shuddhi’. I don’t know what kind of bad omen the movie is going through, I am not able to make it”
Karan promised to talk about the film after the poster is launched.
“The day I launch and announce the poster of ‘Shuddhi’, then only I will be able to tell you anything. I will get the poster made and release it, so everyone believes me that it is not a myth,” he added.
The director also praised Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, which releases this weekend.
“Zoya Akhtar has a knack of dealing with human dynamics like no one else…#DDD is funny, poignant and exceptionally written….its EXCELS,” he tweeted.
“Congratulations to the entire cast of #DDD…each one special and everyone together complete this beautiful film…,” he added.

In Bollywood big budget movies focus more on the release date than on their script, as soon as varun came up in shuddhi, it took no time for ajay to prepone his film to diwali.
Shuddhi is jinxed. Even if Karan Johar asks KRK to be the hero the film won’t be made.
The films which remain in news for more wrong reasons are bound to fall flat when they release.
A recent example is BV which turned out a disaster a few weeks ago and was always in news for wrong things whether it was release delay, bugdet etc.
Same fate is likely for Shuddhi and also Jagga Jassos which now have replaced Govinda with Anil kapoor or Irfan khan or Sr Bachchan. Better for these films to stay out of news before their release.

Shuddhi was one of the most awaited movie for me and for everybody when it was first announced with Hrithik and Kareena . Hrithik left the movie for reasons which are not known . Some say Hrithik did not like the script, some say there were monetary issues between Hrithik and Karan while some said Hrithik walked out of the movie for health and personal reasons . The day Hrithik was a not a part of Shuddhi my excitement was completely over . Then Salman was in the movie which meant Salman will work for the 2nd time with Dharma after K2H2 . The main reason what i have heard as to why Salman left Shuddhi was due to AIB Roast . Karan was part of that show and they made fun of Arpita and Salman did not like it . So Salman decided to leave this movie and he himself recommended Varun for this movie . Varun is a Average Actor and he will not be able to do justice to the characters if the script is not changed . Shuddhi looks like a troubled project and i will not be shocked if it is shelved .
Why u r not able to understand that jab kismat chalti toh sab kuch sahi hota hai…varun is riding on his luck..suddhi will be a big hit nd then people will say ..are tum ko pata hai ye film pehle hrithik aur salman ko mili thi..
