Queen is on a historic run at the Indian box office, as the film is faring better in its second week compared to its first. The big question now is, if the film can cross the 50 crore mark. It would be a major achievement if it does indeed manage to do so, because in the last 5 years only 3 Idiots has collected more than 5 times its first weekend business.
For example, 3 Idiots collected 40 crore in its first weekend (including paid previews) and finished with lifetime business of 202 crore, which is 5 times its first weekend total. Queen has collected Rs 9.96 crore in its first 3 days, and should it cross 50 crore, the trend would be similar to 3 Idiots.
Quite a few films like Vicky Donor, OMG! Oh My God, Band Baaja Baraat have done 4.5 to 4.75 times its first weekend, but very few films have actually managed to trend as well as 3 Idiots did. Queen could just be that film, as it is likely to be the first choice at multiplexes in the next couple of weeks.
Ragini MMS 2 releases in theatres this weekend and that film isn’t expected to be a huge draw at high-end multiplexes. There are a few small to medium budget films, including Atul Agnihotri’s O Teri releasing in the next two weeks, but unless one of those films carry extra ordinary reports, Queen will remain unaffected by new releases.

Yes, it will be around 48cr lifetime. if QUEEN release widest, it can cross 100cr. Just i say only l, Dharma production HTP movie only 37cr. Imtiaz ali highway is 28cr only. Queen is 11days collection is 32cr clash with YRF production. Very good Queen team. Kangana(kaya) is rockzzzzzzz,

Jab we met in 2007 collected 6.85cr in its first weekend and lifetime 42crs,which is more than 6 times its weekend collections.
Thats why it is one of the most loved romantic film of bollywood,that too just 2 weeks before the release of SRK’s OSO…
@Babaji, where did you get the 42 crore figure from? Lifetime business of Jab We Met was 31.45 crore net. Weekend figure is correct. So its around 4.5 times.

collection does not matter. This movie has become 1000 crore movie for audience. It will remain in our heart for long time.
But i did not like the film its quite overrated
I saw Queen yesterday and it is really a lovely movie.
It is trending really well, because i booked tickets at 2pm online and seats were half empty, and when i reached the theatre, it was the same, but within a few minutes it was house-full.
People were really enjoying even the little things in the movie and were engaged throughout.
The way Kangana stuck to the character, i guess in the recent times i have seen only Vidya do that.
i saw Queen last weekend,oh my God it was amazing and i liked it………….Cong Kangana for that beautiful performance and iam sure she will win Filmfare for best actress for her performance
