Here is a movie starring Salman Khan in an action role after a long long time, that was expected to come close to the box office opening of Ghajini, but unfortunately the collections aren’t exactly what you could call “mind-blowing”.
With Dil Bole Hadippa also releasing on the same day, the Wanted’ collections at multiplexes has been affected by a good 10 – 15%.
On Friday, business at single screens was fantastic (close to 95%) but plexes in major cities varied from 60% to a poor 45%. While the masses are coming out in hordes to catch Salman Khan’s on screen histrionics, family audiences are staying away preferring instead, family entertainers like Dil Bole Hadippa and Life Partner (which continues to remain steady weeks after its release).
On Saturday, the business picked up at multiplexes and it remains to be seen if Sunday and Monday (both holiday’s) record similar, if not better collections.
But Salman Khan’s star power, along with the strong word of mouth should carry the movie through. Clean-HIT expected!

well this movie rocks n its a block buster of 2009 the first today is the 8th day n its still very strong in all the places ..as far as comparisons well dil bole haddipa n others r so far behind that its really not worth talking about i saw the movie n i loved it ..infact i saw it twice lol n in general i dont watch hindi movies a lot …this movie rocks minus the shoved in songs ull love it just go n see it ..its crazy but still u will just love it coz its very fast paced …
undoubtedly sallu makes a come back with this power packed perfomance…really his jalwa will create craze…prakash raj too comes out with another brilliant performance…..surely a hit…..looking forward to see sallu,s london dreams……..
Really one of the best action movies ever in bollywood. Acting of Prakash rai, manjrekar, SALLU bhai and never to forget action by VIJAYAN is outstanding. I am from Bangalore and watched original Pokiri.

wanted is very good movie. after so much time we have seen a great action movie, but there are some things which we don’t like, which include the beep voice scene etc.
stay away from WANTED,…..its the worst movie I have ever seen in quite sometime. Only ppl without brains can like this movie. WANTED sucks,….Salman sucks,……I want my money back. There r plenty of better movies running in theatres right now,…watch “Whats your Rashee” or “Wake Up Sid”,…..or anything. I believe no movie can b worse than WANTED. Plzz don’t waste your money on this stupid film.
