I think guzarish, haule haule is the best of all. Actually, from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi I prefer Tujhe Mein Rab Dikhta Hai Song. but it’s no problem. Both of song and both of film is the best bollywood movie in 2009.

Guys guys guys here is what list i think makes top 10 last year not necessarily in order

Kismat connection – Bakhuda (remix) – very intense love song. although wont sound so in normal hearing
Tashan – dil haara – shikhwinder’s magical voice at peak, new age music and that classical vocal chords
Race – Race Saanson mei (for that guitar riff you know ;) )
JTYJN – Pappu (A R Rahman’s superb composition particularly that part which is pure music which sets the theme of the movie when pappu dances and guys get shockd)
Jodhaa – Khwaja (sufi rulez)
Jannat – Haan tu hai ( u can tirelessly listen to it loop aftr loop, kk’s mystic pop vocals wid tabla settin great fusion stuff)
Dostana – Clearly album of the year, Vishal Shekhar scoressss, Khabar nahi best of them, simplicity, deep vocals, passionate music, very sensitively wonderful dosti based thematic song
Rock on – Just short of dostana’s spot, Pichhle saat dinon mei is rock anthem of th year
Dev D – Although heard it in 2009 but technically its of 08, so best song outta this superdrool album is Nayan tarse due to it being the appealing niche audience song (people whu knw abt this song wil know ;) )
Finally, BAE – Another of vishal shekhar’s powerful compositions, best outta them would be tough fite between BAE theme song which is a rip off and Jogi Maahi (altho no1 would like it, but music afficionados will understand when they would be watchin this movi, this song perfectly sets the theme and every lyrics of this song is justified with superb combo of Sukhwinder and Shekhar)

Nice List Tu Muskura from yuvvraj, maybe one song that u guys missed.

Haule Haule would not be top of my list either.

I voted for Mar Jawan, Gujarish and Teri Ore, close 4th was Khuda Jaane.

Anyways keep up the good work and hindi music is really rocking.

Some songs aren’t complete in some movies e.g. the songs of the movie Fashion. The 3 songs are incomplete (Marjawa, Koch Khass Hai & Jalwa) and the 3 are very nice. The song “Koch Khaas Hai” this song when you hear it for 1st time you say (it’s quite good) but when u listen to it 2,3,4,5, 6, 7, and 10 times you just love it, and they’re nice to listen to them while u drive, in the night.. they’re all (late night songs) not day songs.

I think Koch Khaas Hai also must be added as one of the best songs of 2008.

All the songs in the above list are very nice but I think “Tujh mein rab dikhta hai” from RNBDJ & “Judaai” from Jannat deserved to be on the list.I think both those songs rock & I would have definitely voted for them.But,my all time favorite remains “Tera Mera Rishta Purana” from Awarapan.

I think everyone on this website with the name (Raj) enjoy disrespecting others!! You’ve no right to call ppl who voted for their favourite songs as “stupid”! you loved the song Guzaish and others loved Haule Haule. and FYI, I “hated” this song, didn’t like it at all and wished if I could skip this song while watching Ghajini.. this way we’re different in our tastes!

i am shocked to see that haule haule is leading the voting, its stupid people are voting for song because they are srk fans. guzarish is a much better song than that. so stop voting for your favorite actor, its about the best song and guzarish is the best song out there.
