Kamal Hassan’s controversial spy thriller Vishwaroopam has opened to a good response outside Tamilnadu. The Hindi version of the film titled Vishwaroop had a strong weekend of Rs 7.7 crores, which is the biggest ever for a film featuring a South Indian star.
The previous record was held by Rajnikanth’s Robot (hindi version of Enthiran).

- Sunday – 3.3 crore (32% growth from Sat)
- First Weekend – 7.7 crores

- Wednesday – 0.75 crore
- Total Collections in days – Rs 10.35 crores
Overall, the collections of Vishwaroop are decent, but slightly on the lower side as the Hindi version of the film was released on 1000+ screens by Balaji.
The Kamal Hassan starrer will release in Taminadu on February 7th.
