Always Kabhi Kabhi, produced by none other than Shahrukh Khan, is directed by Roshan Abbas and has 3 new faces making their silver screen debuts – Ali Fazal, Zoa Morani and Satyajeet Dubey. The other leading lady Giselli Monteiro, was last seen in Love Aaj Kal as the young Harleen Kaur.
Without any stars headlining the teen flick, the film has been low on hype. Also, with 5 other releases this week (most notably Bheja Fry 2) and Ready still going strong at the box office, Always Kabhi Kabhi is likely to witness a slow start. Its box office fate would then rely completely on content and word-of-mouth. In short, Always Kabhi Kabhi has to be good, for it to have any chances this week at the box office.

I really dont think the will cross 5cr weekend fig in any case. Interesting 2 see how many screen space it ll get. if it will able get around 500, then it may cross 5cr , otherwise i dont think any good in the movie.
As u say the competition will be tough, may Bhejafry-2 win the race, because the hype is very good for the movie and i am totally impress by the trailer of the movie. My prediction will be again around 6cr mark(sure it ll be better then AKK) .
Now coming to Ready, i believe they ll still get around 600-700 cinemas. So really expecting another 8-9cr weekend & 15-16cr week.

5 crores is possible, if the film is liked by the target audience. Don’t under-estimate word-of-mouth, if the response from initial shows is good, Saturday and Sunday are likely to witness much better collections.
It’ll be a interesting little battle between Bheja Fry 2 and Always Kabhi Kabhi, we expect the later to win though. Lets see!
The movie is made on a 5 crores budget…So, reaching 10crores will makes it a clear winner
I EXPECT 6-7 CORES…THE MOVIE IS EXPECTED TO BE GOOD AND ALL THE SHOUTS WILL NOT PREVENT IT FROM BEING A HIT.
I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN READY AND THAT DID NOT PREVENT IT FROM MAKING MONEY…IT WAS NOT FLOWING AND WAS BORING IN PARTS.
Box office collections of AKK do not appear to sky rocket, but those chaps who have seen the film say that in terms of production, plot and presentation it should do decent business.
We earlier saw Ready, for the good cast & Salman, ready is the top box office hit of current year, but the movie READY was really rubbish, and the moment film rolled for 30 minutes we felt cheated. Most actors in ready suffer from acute over acting, wooden characters, bad sloppy film. Loud bashing comedy was the biggest irritant in Ready.
AKK also as per the local reports is not impressive but we intend to see it due to strong cast, lets see how it turns out, we pray we do not wish to see same over acting of ready in the AKK.
