The much awaited theatrical trailer of Veer is out! And the film written by Salman Khan himself has a Jodha Akbar – Lagaan feel to it, both classics directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
Veer directed by Anil Sharma and produced by Vijay Galani, this period drama also stars Sohail Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Lisa Lazarus and Jackie Shroff. The movie releases on January 22nd 2010.

performances…..besides our budget is 75 crores ..be assured we have utilised it well….I once again guarentee you all our film is worth 75 CR but will look more than 1.5 BILLION(150 CR) on screen …..and thats where you will realize how we as producers have shown good production values….Once again im the one who’s built this hype cos i really feel we have something v v v special in our hands….and we are very proud to have the tag of Makers of VEER….i myself cant wait to get some responses on our trailer….it will blow your mind…besides you will get an idea about how grand VEER is ….

exactly guys we re all still thinking VEER is like an ordinary film, its gonna be 10 times bigger than yiu guys can ever picture….besides i totally forgot to mention about Zarine’s performance…..she’s done amazing for her debut film….and is here to stay in Bollywood….she might just be the next bollywood heartthrob….and Mithunda is gonna have IMMENSE screen presence, his performace is gonna have people salute him….Mithunda is a legend ….an amazing amazing person by heart….I feel grateful that he considered me his favourite on the sets and i have respect for him no end….he helped us through several problems while filming and was the godfather to all of us…Mithunda’s presence is gonna send around shiver….HE IS THAT GOOD…Guys the performances in VEER will raise a flurry of eyebrows and get alot of characters in the film noticed…..not to forget Jackiedada is extraordinary and will have his fans crying out loud again ….all in all expect the best power-packed

people just know that VEER is a big film, salman story etc etc
nobody knows whats lined up for them, when our trailer comes up, im pretty sure there will be people speaking about it and looking forward to the release ….
besides there’s been no period film for a while now….and id keep the cinemateography anf magixc lens a suspense as for now….its something uve never seen in bollywood….perhaps even hollywood i think….cant recollect any other film having this magic lens or type of cinemategraphy

Last time I said tht I’ll b back with veer.All the people who wanna know abt movie,I’ve a guideline 4 u.The producer of the film(vimjay galani) har said tht in wanted,u have just seen 20%of salman,u will see 100% in veer.N before veer,people compare salman’s acting with shahrukh n aamir,but aftr veer,u’ll b thinking whether shahrukh n Aamir stand in front of salman in acting.

I am a regular member of “Veer official facebook group”.
The budget of the film is not finally exposed yet. But the actual budget might be anywhere between Rs.50 cr and Rs.75 cr. What Pratik Galany said ,was a long time ago and was not the final spending cost. The final budget is not known to Pratik Galani . His father Vijay Galani didn’t communicate it with him. Today Pratk Galani has clarified it again. He again mentioned that Rs.75 cr is the total recoverable budget amount not the actual cost. He estimated this recoverable amount in a conservative way, not in an over-ambitious way. So, we can hope the actual earning will be much higher than Rs. 75 cr. Hope it will break all the records.
@ Saju…plz don’t pump up the budget. A huge budget is not gonna help a movie always, bcoz u also have to recover that amount and make profit. Thus the final words r that the actual budget is not exposed yet.
btw..thank you everyone for ur overwhelming support for VEER and Salman Khan…..We can expect the very best from VEER.
will veer going to release on 22 jan 2010 along with rann of amitabh bachan and prince -its shown time of vivek oberoi. can prince bit veer , well there is no chance, vivek is not equal a 1% of sallu bhai.lets see i think he might can change his release date.

We were never in it to recover our costs, make an ordinary film or give the audiences the usual cinema….We were in it to set the record straight,to aspire to reach the hollywood levels, to create history….People would question our logic of spending 75cr on a bollywood film….but we can challenge that our film will look worth more than a BILLION on screen….running down the days till “VEER” Jan 22nd 2010…..
