The teaser poster of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is out and it looks interesting. The lead star Vidya Balan is seen hiding her face behind gifts which she has won along with a basket full of vegetables hanging from her arms.
Vidya, who was last seen in ‘Begum Jaan’, will be seen playing the role of Sulochana, a Radio Jockey. The last time Vidya played a radio jockey was in the Rajkumar Hirani classic ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’.
‘Tumhari Sulu’ has been directed by Suresh Triveni. It also features Neha Dhupia and Manav Kaul.
Talking about the film, the director, who is inspired by Hrishikesh Mukherjee films, said “Middle-class housewives have been portrayed as hassled and troubled in Hindi films, but I’m a huge Hrishikesh Mukherjee fan and he showed that even middle-class families can be happy. I want the audience to walk out with a big smile on their face”
‘Tumhari Sulu’ will release in theatres on December 1st 2017.

I really hope this film becomes successful for Vidya Balan . She has done incredible work in Parineeta, LRMB, Ishqiya, NOKJ, TDP, Paa and Kahaani . Tumhari Sulu will have a clash against 102 Not Out starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor on 1st December . After string of failures this should be a winner for VB .
