Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year has recorded the 4th highest first week collections of all time behind Dhoom 3, Krrish 3 and Kick. The Farah Khan film is ahead of other major grossers like Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger, Bang Bang, Bodyguard and Dabangg 2.
Happy New Year takes the second spot in the highest first week collections for films released in 2014, about Rs 7 crore behind Kick.

Now, what excuse will you give? Why HNY has failed to beat Kick, Saarook fans? Both are festive releases. But kick was released during pre eid period on a working day. And Diwali is the biggest festive season in India. There were holidays in Gujarat until Wednesday.

Our kings movie hny collections made us happy for just opening day and after that it dropped day by day.After opening day I given burnol to my friend who is fan of aamir but from 2 nd day he started giving me burnol everyday from last 6 days
Salman does only masala kind of films so all his films appear in the top 20 list but the day when his does an offbeat film like mnik,guzaarish then we could about his true star power.
