He might not have had a movie release this year, but Salman Khan has once again topped the list of ‘most searched celebrity’ in India for 2013. The superstar has edged out his arch-rival Shahrukh Khan, in the list published by Microsoft’s online search engine Bing.
The only sportsperson in the list, dominated by movie stars, is legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who retired from all forms of cricket last month.

Deepika Padukone may have delivered 4 hugely successful films this year, but she is still a fair distance away from beating Katrina Kaif, who was in news for her leaked bikini pictures.
Hrithik Roshan, who was in news for both personal and professional reasons throughout the year, didn’t make it to the Top 10.

Check out Google search results trends, and you will find, Katrina has topped the charts since 2007 and no one, except Kareena came near her.

Katrina has been popular among masses, than any of the current heroine, and producers want bankable stars, for whom people can spend money on to watch, because at the end of the day, every movie maker wants good returns on his/her investments.

Microsoft Bing…no idea about this search engine…i did not use it even once till date. No Doubt Salman is very popular and has huge fan following the rest of following stars (PC, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan) doesn’t deserve to be more searched than Hrithik or Aamir.
Hrithik has highest single day collection record & Aamir father of 100 Cr, 200 Cr & 300Cr (expected from Dhoom 3). Can anyone imagine they will not be serached.
