The trailer ‘Talvar’ that revolves around the controversial case of Arushi Talwar is out. The film starring Irrfan Khan in the lead is a mystery thriller about the 2008 Noida double murder case. The victims were 14 year old Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old Hemraj Banjade, a domestic help hired by Aarushi’s parents.
The case has several different angles to it, including Honour killing by Aarushi’s convicted parents Rajesh Talwar (Neeraj Kabi) and Nupur Talwar (Konkana Sen Sharma).
The film is told from Aarushi’s parents perspective.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Talvar has been written by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2.

I am really excited to watch this movie . The Aarushi Murder Case is one of the most popular cases in the last 10 years . Rahasya was also inspired by this case but Talvar is actually based on the case but from the parents perspective . Irrfan Khan, Konkana and Tabu all are brilliant actors so expecting a brilliant movie and amazing performances . But the problem is it will clash with SIB so i hope the movie is postponed . Because such a movie deserves a better release date . I hope it does well and becomes a success .

@arjun youngistan fan piku was hit due to deepika, lunchbox due to low budget. All emraan movies were hit when the were made with budget of 15-20 cr like jannat, murder 2 etc. When his movie budget increased to 40 cr his films could not recover. I bet you if irrfan stars in main lead with budget of 40cr all his movies will flop. By the way talwar looks like a low budget film
