Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’ is in legal trouble, as a complaint has been filed in a court in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) against the superstar and his director Ali Abbas Zafar.
The complaint alleges that the film was shot in Morna area of the UP district but the location was shown as Rewari in Haryana.
According to the prosecution, the judicial magistrate has fixed May 3 (today) for hearing the case.
Ehtesham Siddiq, the man who filed the complaint, has alleged that Salman and his director have been shooting in Morna area but the place was shown as Rewari. The complaint also mentioned that the people of the Muzaffarnagar area are annoyed.
Earlier, Salman had thanked the people of Muzaffarnagar and the UP Government headed by Akhilesh Yadav, adding that the shoot wouldn’t have been possible without their support.
With every big movie u see such kind of time wasting cases. Recently Raees also and before that BM and so on.
Some cases may be genuine. But in a large majority of such cases, it seems that there are some people who have alot of free time and resources or maybe want to get some funds from the film makers.
Whatever the scenario, nothing to be taken serious here.

This has happened before in many movies . Some parts of YJHD were shot in Kashmir but it was shown as Manali in the film . Baby was shot in Abu Dhabi but it was shown as Saudi Arabia in the film . Airlift was shot in Ras-Al-Khaima but it was shown as Kuwait in the film . Sometimes the makers have to take decision when they are not able to shoot for the movies in the desired locations and this happens . So it’s not a big deal .
