  • This award show gonna be a flop show!!! and you can see Sonakshi winning awards….i guess you people know why!!! haha

  • YES!! These nominees are so much more deserving than Filmfare’s! So happy! But, still..it’s not perfect! Where’s Lootera and The Lunchbox’s nominations for Best Film?? And Lootera for Best Director is missing! And what’s with the two nominations for Chennai Express as Best Film?? It doesn’t even deserve one (as much as I liked the movie). Instead of Ranbir for YJHD, it should have been Dhanush for Rhanjhaana (Best Actor). Supriya Pathak should have also been nominated for Best Supporting Actress (Ram-Leela). Very happy for Irrfan/Nawazzudin/Nimrat for getting noms!! :-) Hope Deepika and Sonakshi win Best Actress awards, and Farhan and Irrfan should win Best Actor awards (popular, and critics choice respectively).

  • So happy that Deepika has been nominated three times. She deserves that and a lot more for all the brilliant performances last year. Has any other actress ever has had such a good year?? Indicine?

  • Last year this award show was a flop…same should happen this year….as Salman isn’t good at award hosting… sonakshi only award show performance will be in this awards..

  • Media and TV channels have been trying their best to give as many awards possible to SRK even if not deserving, just to boost his public image.
Aamir doesnt attend, Salman doesnt care, and Ajay and Hrithik are ignored for many deserving performances.
    But despite media overhyping SRK,
he doesnt have a single highest grosser in the last 7-8 years.
He is still chasing and will always chase the box office records of Aamir, Salman and Hrithik.
    Public is the judge!

  • Why haven’t they nominated Dhanush?? It was probably the best male performance of the year.

But thankfully no nomination for SRK. But I still fail to understand why Rohit Shetty has been nominated for Best Director? Is this the best that we’ve got? What did he do apart from making SRK overact and some over the top action scenes?

  • what do these jury people see in chennai express. critics bashed it left and right. but still it’s getting nominated. is this all because of trp?

  • when srk does movie like mnik,d2,jthj then everyone is taking about money.but when srk does money making ce then everyone is taking about class.I can’t understand.

  • i doubt whether all award shows and awards sponsored by SRK…And the judges are bribed by him!!sometimes reading others views here, its not a doubt, its confirmatory for past few years. will anybody please kill him??

  • last year Star guild award had the most credible and deserving winners list. and hope this time it would repeat.

Ranvir singh’s act in raam-leela was kinda over the top. he was terrific in lootera. don’t know why these award shows nominate him for raam-leela instead of lootera. he has the chance to win if he was nominated for lootera.

  • @indicine:
why don’t you post Sonakshi Sinha’s reaction on lootera being ignored in award function? This article is very much essential. This is the death of quality film.

  • The screen awards were such a sham. i love srk but what did he do in chennai express to win a best actor trophy? Hrithik and aamir were way better candidates. Shah rukh bought this award for hosting the show, this is most undeserving!!! And i say this despite being an srk fan!

  • I have had a glance and I think the nominees here are more deserving than the other Awards show…. Maybe its our Bhai jaan insisting on no foul play so organisers have heeded that warning… Star Guild Awards wont make as much moolah as FilmFake , Zee or Colors Screen did/ do because they are not selling their awards to the highrst bidder but as last yr proved their show was most watched and universally loved by fraternity and audience…!

Bhai roxXxXx and the jokes will be clean and interaction between the Host and Audience will be spectacular like last yr when the banter between Pritam/ Sajid- Wajid and Salman was hilarious.

All the best to the nominees and regardless of who wins we know it will be a grand occasion indeed.

  • Best Playback Singer Male- Atif Aslam or Arijit Singh…. Oh my the forgotten song of 2013 vs the most loved- Jeez thats a tough one as my fav is Tum Hi Ho but also Jeene Lago Hoon was good… Really hope one of those wins over the test so good luck to both singers- may the best man win…

  • @sakhi rant rawant Why dont you try reading the article before posting nonsense….? Being first is a nasty habit you picked up from your thakur but sadly Thakur hasnt had the Biggest Hit of the Year for yrs so unlike Thakur you do succeed in leaving your filth first on each article…!

You must be an employee hence the thousands of anniversary articles every yr about Thakur doing this, that and the other flop film…! :-P
