The biggest release of the year along with Hrithik Roshan’s Jodhaa Akbar and Aamir Khan’s Ghajini is Shahrukh Khan’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi directed by Aditya Chopra himself!
The search for Shahrukh Khan’s heroine for the movie was on from a long time now and finally the super lucky girl is 19 year old Anushka Sharma from Bangalore. Check out her picture below..
“We were looking first for someone who could truly embody the spirit of small town Punjab. We know we have found her in Anushka Sharma. While she has no acting experience, we have seen that spark in her that makes us confident that she will be a standout opposite Shah Rukh” says Yash Chopra.
The shooting for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi begins on May 12th and the movie is tentatively set to release on December 12th 2008.
Wonder what this movie would be all about though, as SRK’s co-star is a 19 year old teenager. Here is her pic, what do you guys think?

who knows this film can become unexpectedly a superflop as Yash Raj Films banner is producing junk films in Bollywood continuously?…good Aditya for choosing her, if it becomes flop you are going for a good record.
