Shahrukh Khan and Rajnikanth, two superstars from the Hindi and Tamil industry, will launch the music of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ on Sunday.
“Shahrukh Khan has agreed to attend the audio launch on Sunday. When Soundarya Ashwin Rajinikanth (Rajni’s daughter and the film’s director) called and requested him to be present at the event, he instantly agreed. He said that it’s like his own film and he’ll be there” Rajnikanth’s manager informed the media.
‘Kochadaiiyaan’, directed by Soundarya, is one of the biggest movies of 2014 starring Rajnikanth and Deepika Padukone. The film is India’s first motion capture photo-realistic animated film.

U said for OSO to be big grosser SRK needed Deepika and big banner, hmm didnt OSO release in 2007 when Deepika was making debut and the film banner for the movie was SRK/farah Khan own banner and NOT yash raj/dharma?……………also wasnt CE also a NON yash raj/ dharma banner(it was Red Chilies) and wasnt Chennai Express a comedy film with SRK carrying out most of the comedy which have most audiences laughing out loud and returning 2 and 3 times to theaters………………sure deepika was good but she was just icing on the cake which was already baked by SRK and Rohit shetty…………………..she certainly did not cause the tremendous opening (an astounding 100 crores in 3 days + paid previews) as in her last films YJHD and Race 2 her performance was just ok, nothing great and her star power was NOT all that great either………………..it was her performance in CE that got her noticed and togther with Ram Leela gave her critical acclaim and star power she now has……………..therefore it wasnt soley her that made the film do extremely well……………..main reason for CE success in order of most important factors:
1) SRK
2) Rohit Shetty
3) SRK and Deepika chemistry
4) laugh out loud comic scenes with brillant comic timing by SRK
5) Deepika graceful performance and fresh south accent
6) Story connected with audiences
I cant understand why ppl like u say SRK only gives big hits with yash raj………………so many other big stars like saif(hum tum, tara rum pum,TPTM) hrithik(MDK), ranbir (BAH),Akshay(yeh dilagi, Tashan)had yash raj and never gave hugh hits (superhit and above)……………………….so it not like if a big star works with Yash Raj he is guarantied a hugh hit………………………..what it reallly does show is that if Yash Raj works with SRK then THEY are guarantied a huge hit!
