Shahrukh Khan not only injured his forehead, shoulder and knees, but the superstar was also badly shaken by the accident that occurred on the sets of his upcoming film Happy New Year.
A source on the sets confirmed the same.
“Shahrukh was shooting with the rest of the Happy New Year cast when a heavy 10 feet x 5 feet door came crashing down straight towards him. While he managed to duck, he door ramped into him injuring the right side of his forehead. The impact also injured his knee”
The actor was in hospital for nearly 5 hours, after which he returned on the sets to continue shooting for the film. The actor was seen wearing a sling.
Another eye witness said that Shahrukh was in a lot of pain and had his CT Scan and MRI tests done.
“Shahrukh was in a lot of pain. He is also become frail because of the repeated injuries and surgeries. The entire team went to the hospital with him. They were there for more than four hours. Thorough tests including CT scan and an MRI were done.”
The film shoot on Friday was cancelled to allow Shahrukh to rest. He is expected to resume shooting if there is nothing abnormal in the CT scan and MRI reports.
Get well soon. But the shoot was cancelled today to celebrate the poor opening of Jai Ho. :D

@shahid-srk I know head injuries can be very fatal and personally speaking a work colleague few yrs ago tragically lost his father back in India due to an incident at a building site where an object from struck a glancing blow to his skull. At the time he was in hospital and given an all clear and well you know the less said the better about medical practices but you just never know. Something can seem trivial but later on it could be fatal like concussions as noone knows that much about head injuries and long term after shocks.
Anyway all the best to Srk and a rest is probably best just to keep at bay any after effects which dont arise to the surface in the immediate aftermath.
There is another news with the MRI/CT scan results.
Turns out accident has resulted in a fractured shoulder and torn patellar tendon. His shoulder has already been operated on, making it somewhat sensitive. Hope he recovers quickly… Prayers for him.
Vicious people not happy with media attention taken away from Salman, perhaps will feel some remorse. May be not, they will continue mocking Shahrukh. Heartless.
