Ra1 First day would be around 15-16 crores. Here is the reason and try to understand it.
Bodyguard released a day after Eid. people go to each other’s houses to meet and greet on the eid day. The next day after eid is for outings, entertainment and stuff therefore BG got 21.5 crores the day after eid.
Ra 1 is releasing exactly on the Diwali day and people will have to meet and greet relatives rather than going to watch a movie. yes the next day could be big if the reviews are good. If the reviews are not good then it could effect the business as Srk is not Review whereas Salman is review proof. Example wanted, dabangg, ready bodyguard.

With the Budget over 175Cr, its bound to be flopped theatrically. Even a small kid knows that to get the Distribution share of 175 crore the move will have to do atleast 350 crore business in theaters. Which is impossible for a movie like Ra1. Verdict Flop. Srk might recover money because of the sat and music rights but theatrically a big flop.

@Gaurav ..mere tatte ke ball…main yeh keh raha hoon ke Srk lore ke pass inta achaa chance tha ke kuch original leker atta bollywood main but he just copied few movies and made cocktail of something that we already have seen do many times. Jab 175 cr spend kerna hi tha toh kuch original kerta.
Whether Ra 1 is hit or flop, one thing is sure…this wil be the biggest film in bollywood atleast for next 10 years…even hollywood movies dont get promoted like this…SRK is doing an amazing job…no other actor can make theirfilm so big lyk this…….

See how cheap Srk can go for the promotion. There is no Rajnikant in RA1 yet and Srk said he is there. May be Srk should have said Salman is also in the movie and i am sure then movie would cross 100 crores.
