If Sonakshi Sinha matched Prabhudheva’s flexible moves in ‘Go go Govinda’ from the film ‘OMG: Oh My God!’, for her special song in ‘Himmatwala’, she learnt Michael Jackson’s popular ‘Moonwalk’ step from filmmaker Sajid Khan.
For the movie, Sonakshi features in a disco song ‘Thank God It’s Friday’, and she sports a jazzy look.
One hears that Sajid, brother of choreographer Farah Khan, himself got on the dance floor to teach Sonakshi the ‘Moonwalk’.
Confirming the same, a source said: “Actually Sajid himself is a great dancer and during his college days, he performed this Moonwalk in lots of dance competitions.”
“When he saw that Sonakshi was doing the Moonwalk a little different than how it originally is, he decided to go and have some fun on the dance floor and also teach Sonakshi,” added the source.
Himmatwala, starring Ajay Devgn and Tammannaah, releases in theatres March 29.
Whether it was Farah or Sajid it didnt matter as Sonakshi still didnt look good. She struggles to do a good walk so how she was ever gonna do the moonwalk was beyond comprehension. Poor sonakshi needs to shed afew pounds and take some dancing lessons from Saroj Khan.
Sonakshi needs to do morning walk and evening walk instead of moonwalk to reduce some weight.
