In today’s times, the ‘Sunday test’ has probably become as important as the first weekday i.e Monday, at the box office. Singh Is Bling hasn’t shown the kind of growth it should have on Sunday, which also means that the 100 crore club could be touch and go for Akshay Kumar’s 4th release of 2015. The film started well at the box office, collecting Rs 20.67 crore on its opening day. Business dropped on Saturday (working day) by around 30%. On Sunday, the film was expected to show good growth, as there was plenty of scope in circuits like Mumbai, West Bengal and the other South circuits. The growth, unfortunately, did not come and the film has settled to business of around Rs 16.5 crore on Sunday.
The weekend total is in the 51-52 crore range, which is actually poor after a 20.67 crore weekend. It remains to be seen if Singh Is Bling can cross the 100 crore mark at the box office. In comparison, Welcome Back had similar weekend collections of Rs 51 crore, even though it did not get the holiday advantage on its opening day. Welcome Back opened at 14 crore and then collected 17 crore on Saturday and 19.6 crore on Sunday. Ideally, Singh Is Bling should have put up similar collections on Saturday and Sunday.

akshay in bad phase + singh is bling looked like another routine masala film unlike singh is kingg which looked grand and entertaining. Akshay needs to avoid films like sib entertainment gabbar etc as they will never be big hits.

@Indicine I can’t understand why Indicine pulling Akshay’s leg by saying a Holiday release…When Khans and others get a solo release on Holiday then say it…SIB clashed with Puli,Talvar and a T20 match…wtf happened to this site…If Happy New Year released on a work day it won’t collect such a big amount like 44 cr. and also it won’t clashed with any other movies and there was no Cricket match on that day…Please stop taking side…Whatever SIB did on it’s 1st day(20.67 cr.) is huge if u compare to the clash…It got less number of screens… -_-

Movie real test will start today if movie have to sustain well then its need to collect at least 8 crore on monday.
I watched Singh Is Bling and truly i enjoyed a movie full entertain family package and pesa vasool movie.
