Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra (last seen in Student Of The Year and Ishaqzaade respectively) have been roped in to star in Karan Johar’s next production venture. The film will be co-produced by Dharma Productions and Phantom Production.
“Happy to announce the new Dharma-Phantom co-production with Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra! The film will be directed by ad filmmaker Vinil Mathew. Title to be announced soon” Karan tweeted.
Sidharth too made the announcement on Twitter “Here it is guys, my second film! … really excited to work with Parineeti Chopra, Phantom and Vinil.”

@raj I agree with your sentiments. Its a sad thing but truth is in bollywood unlike Hollywood, its contacts that get people opportunities to work in movies. Everyone knows Mahesh would like to have launched his daughter in Jism 2 but hes a porn king so could not bare to watch the movie if Alia was in it so he co-financed SOTY and had Karan launch his daughter. Parineeti has Priyanka to thank for getting her introductions to the Chopras and rumour has it that Uday was all over her but Parineeti is smart and warded of his sleazy advances. But like you said Thank god we still have some ‘newcomers’ who can act aswell as look good. My fav is Huma but Ileana is dashing too.
