The shooting of Karan Johar’s first film without stars is finally underway. The romantic comedy stars Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The music will be composed by Vishal and Shekhar.
Kajol is rumoured to make a special appearance and SRK, who is also the co-producer, is likely to appear in a promotional song with the newcomers. Both Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan have worked as assistant directors for Karan’s last film My Name Is Khan.
Varun is the son of comedy director David Dhawan and Alia Bhatt is the daughter of director Mahesh Bhatt. Student of the Year would be Karan Johar’s first film without Shahrukh Khan in a lead role.
The film began on the 17th of August and is expected to be wrapped up before the end of the year.

This film will be a hit for sure, I can say that because: 1) it’s KJ’s film 2) because of these pictures which I saw now.. the newcomers look good and for sure they wl be good actors, unlike the other movie which released a few months ago.. can’t remember even the name of that movie.. it was also about college boys and girls, the movie was under yash raj’s banners.. and flopped.
