Long long time back had heard the original one and enjoyed it. Watched the original one on youtube today. Song of 1951 movie Albela. Original version looks better to me. My mother still listens to these old songs.
And while I was checking this one out at youtube came across another song “Bholi surat dil kai khotay” of the same movie which again I watched long long time back. For anyone who heard it before and enjoyed it:

Reading the comments at youtube I came to know that Bhagwan Dada (the one dancing in Bholi surat song) was probably the first dancer of Bollywood. His dancing technique was very famous at that time.
Today after seeing Hrithik and Tiger dancing we might find that dancing technique odd but they were the pioneers and the rest followed.
Both are evergreen songs.
