Happy Ending is one of the biggest disasters of the year, as the film is likely to collect less than Rs 14 crore in its first weekend at the box office. Ironically, most Bollywood films released in the 3rd week of November have suffered the same fate in the last 12 years – you read that right! 2012 and 2004 were the only exceptions, only because no film released in the jinxed third week of the penultimate month of the year.
Last year, Dharma Productions’ Gori Tere Pyaar Mein released in theatres on November 21st and collected Rs 9.65 crore in its first weekend. The film was Dharma’s biggest disaster in recent times. In 2012, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar had a open second week, and both films didn’t do as well as they were expected to.
In 2011, Shubh Mukherjee’s Shakal Pe Mat Ja opened to empty houses. 2010 witnessed the release of Guzaarish, a film that will be remembered as the worst opening that a Hrithik Roshan film has taken since his career low between 2001 – 2002. Shahrukh Bola “Khoobsurat Hai Tu” also released in the same week featuring Shahrukh Khan in a special appearance, that movie didn’t work either.
Dharma released their Saif Ali Khan – Kareena Kapoor starrer Kurbaan during the same week in 2009, the movie failed. Salman Khan tried his luck too with Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraaj co-starring Katrina Kaif. Disaster.

and d huge no. of dislikes for my bombay velvet cmnt shows d insecurity and jealousness towards rk from all d fan bases in indicine family.I hv noticed one thing-whenever I tok about khans,akki,ajay and hro my likes percentage ranges from 40%-90% and hv often crossed 60 likes but whenever I tok about youngistaan and especially ranbir likes percentage drops to 5%-35% which is a shocking result.

From past records, it shows that November is not a good month for the releases of the movies especially when festive diwali falls in October!
-Why does an actor who does not like to watch Hindi movies make Hindi films? Why? Why do the people who hate eating Roti and Chawal sell them? If Saif doesn’t watch Hindi movies, how the hell can he analyse and access the tastes and likes and mindsets of the Hindi audiences?
As for Kareena, she might have said that to support her hubby! Yet, she is not the deciding factor of any big film. She is just a glamour for a film! Nothing else!
Why the hell is the name of Saif’s production house is Illuminati? Doesn’t he have any other names? Why does he keep the name of a global elite secret society that worships devils?

As for Illeana D’Cruz, had she debuted with Wanted with Salman Khan, she would have become a top heroine of the industry by today. In Barfi, Ranbir Kapoor and PC stole the show. Besides, she has also lost the opportunity to work with Salman Khan because Salman Khan hardly works with any heroine or anyone that has once rejected his offers. Illeana was supposed to star in PRDP, Salman advised Sooraj to cast Sonam instead!
Deepika too rejected Salman Khan’s films. Salman does not like to work with her though her PR agents spreads the rumors other way round. Yet, Deepika debuted with the top star of the time. It was better for her.
Last but not the least, it is really worrisome and a negative sign for Hindi Cinema that its business and incomes have started to solely depend on the shoulders of a few stars!

With outcome of happy ending kill dil… One thing is 4 sure…if a masala movie is well edited choreographed with a sensible script and most important with highly talented Bollywood stars flaw/STAR POWER (anything 20crores upward opening day….can imagine wat STAR VALUE results to 30crores+….srk aamir ajay Salman specifically…).
D fact is still that Hindi audience always opt and STILL PREFER D MASALA MOVIES!
I think its fair to say now that AKSHAY KUMAR has not gotten CREDITS he actually deserved!….just don’t know if its his movies(which I doubt) or its d audience…4 football lovers if I say Akki is just like ARSENAL football club…main target is just to finish fourth in d league and qualify for champions league (satisfied with 70crores as his bench mark)!
Finally..just personal opinion… I think if farhan akter and organ khan had joined acting much earlier they would also have been in d current top 10 qualitative actors list

There is absolutely no interest of going for movie in the general public.
Colleges are back to exam mode, while most of the schools have a month long sporting activities.
Office goers have just shifted to top gear working mode after the diwali vacations with their families.
It will take atleast another 2 weeks for people to really look forward for movies, as then by time Xmas would be coming, market will be buzzing with shopping etc., and catching a new movie will again gain some interest.
The only movies that can look forward for good collections is Action Jackson and PK, of which PK will have a great opening, thanks to Hirani and Aamir combo, while Action Jackson makers will have to keep their fingers crossed.
