Yesteryear actor Shatrughan Sinha, who was admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in July, was discharged from the hospital on Sunday after undergoing open-heart surgery.
The 66 year old actor was first admitted on July 2nd, after he complained of breathlessness. Later, blockages in his heart were discovered by the doctors, who advised surgery.
Shotgun as he is fondly called by his fans, recently said he is feeling hale n hearty and values his family and wife much more now.
The veteran has acted in more than 200 Hindi films and featured in several Punjabi and Bengali films too. His daughter Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut with Dabangg in 2010 and was last seen in this year’s Rowdy Rathore.
