Watch the much-awaited trailer of Shamitabh is out. The film is directed by R. Balki who has previously directed films like ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’. Shamitabh is a mixture of the first names of the two lead actors.
The trailer opens with Dhanush, who looks like a ordinary man and a star. He romances Akshara Haasan, who makes her film debut with Shamitabh. Midway through the trailer, Amitabh Bachchan makes his appearance. He says “It is not a picture, it is a mixture.”
Shamitabh has been produced by R Balki’s wife Gauri Shinde and Abhishek Bachchan. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 6th February.

Wazir is being written by Abhijat Joshi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Don’t know whether it’ll be a commercial success, but it’ll be very rich in terms of content. Watch Eklavyaa if you dont believe me.
Also, Shoojit Sircar has a unique distinction of making genuinely engaging commercial hits, so I dont think Piku will be a flop.
Dont know about Shamitabh, but I heard Hirani is making a cameo appearance so I’m excited about it!

Balki after two superbly entertaining and thoughtful films is back in SHAMITABH. The trailer doesnt tell you much about the story but in the end you can see the glimpses of the EGO clashes. This film again looks super solid on content . YO just can’t expect BALKI to go wrong anywhere, plus you have Mr. Bacchhan who seems brilliant and Dhanush is stalwart . The film looks promising. Best of Luck to the Team.

Brilliant trailer. Dhanush is the most underrated youngster in Bollywood since he doesn’t make any appearance in Television.He is a powerhouse of talent.He has way to go in Bollywood.But I couldn’t understand most of Amitabh’s dialogue
