Shahrukh Khan, who has featured in four Yash Chopra directed film (Darr, Dil Toh Pagal, Veer Zaara and Jab Tak Hai Jaan), shared a close personal relationship with the late director.
SRK took to Twitter to express his grief “Whenever my loved ones depart.. I feel a part of me extinguishes itself with them. Will there come a day.. that I will no longer have a bit of myself to let go of?”
“And then the thought follows…that every time they have taken some of me.. with them onto their last journey , I have found a fragment of them left inside me too… I will always have some love to give.. and I will always be both emptied and replenished by the loved ones I lose. I keep u w?th me Yashji and I miss u too Yashji… lots.”
Yash Chopra has directed Shahrukh Khan in Darr, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Veer Zaara and Jab Tak Hai Jaan – the last of which, releases on November 13th 2012.

Huminity comes here so i think they should postpone JTHJ.
Because its a Diwali time & you should not enjoy it when someone is missing from you.
If a family member dies people postpone marriege plans for years then how could you release film in less than a month after death of a legend who directed it.
Now someone will say that its his dream & etc etc.
Then if a father dies before his sons wedding then it not means that he dont have dreams for his son.But generaly people want to tribute him.
No doubt that we all will watch film for tribute to the legend.But releasing film in just a month after his death is not near to huminity.

It is NOT SRK’s decision to postpone or prepone Jab Tak Hai Jaan. He is NOT the producer. YRF are the producers. It doesn’t make sense for him to postpone it. It would make sense if there was a film clashing with the legend’s film to change the release date as a tribute to Yash Chopra. In this case, Son of Sardaar is the movie which will release on the same day. If anyone should change the release date, it’s SoS.
But, it would be really moronic to think that the release date for SoS will change. Bollywood is a business after all, & if the producers of SoS think that 13th Nov will be the best day to release their movie, it is completely within their rights to not change the date.
All SRK fans who are saying that Ajay Devgn should change the release date are tasteless people. A person like Yash Chopra is dead & all they care about is a solo release for their movie. They can’t be true fans of SRK.
Anyway, the whole bitter reaction by fans of Salman is also tasteless. Salman delivered the highest grossing movie of his career in a YRF production, FFS.
All I have to say here is that JTHJ doesn’t really matter. Yash Chopra & his body of work is what matters. You all should watch the first teaser of JTHJ which celebrates the life & works of Yash Chopra.
Think about all the people close to Yash Chopra. His family, his extended family and people like SRK, Karan Johar & Rani Mukerji. Imagine the trauma they must be going through. People who joke or mock death don’t know what it is like to lose a loved one. I know. It’s the most emptying experience of your life. Let’s learn to respect that.
